DoorDash Isn't The Only Game In Town!
Minimum Base Pay for the Twin Falls area needs to be raised to at least $5, period. $2.00 - $4.00 just insn't worth any of us even starting our cars for. DD places entirely too much responsibility on the Customer's shoulders and that just isn't right! Customers already pay far too many fees using the doordash platform so why should they have to feel responsible for a tip too? A large majority are so upset about this pre-tipping method that they don't tip at all...! Dashers need to be compensated fairly for each delivery, whether a tip is included on the order or not. GREED will eventually destroy the DoorDash platform... Dashers know this. It's why most of us double & tripple app now. We don't see DoorDash being around much longer...

This DoorDash base pay is Ridiculous! It’s getting worse and worse!
IT IS MY RECOMMENDATION THAT A "FAIR" PAY SCALE IN TWIN FALLS SHOULD LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS:
FLAT RATE, in town, BASE PAY delivery fee (.1 - 5mi): minimum $5.00
RURAL (6+ mi): $1.00 per mile
WAIT TIME (Over 10 min): Add $5.00
I don't care about a TIP as much as I care about being compensated FAIRLY for a delivery, but of course tips are always welcomed. If DoorDash would offer a fair base pay and pay us for wait time I would accept most any offer. It's pretty simple. I've noticed that DD likes to over complicate things burrying them in a bunch of fancy wording and nonsensical math. Since DoorDash hasn't been treating me fairly, I double and tripple app now just to bring in enough money. I'd rather just work for DD but, they seem to be pushing drivers away!
