ALCOHOL DELIVERIES

Under the current format, I decline every single alcohol order. It's just not worth it to me. I can't help but feel like I'll just wind up wasting my TIME too. Good idea in THEORY but...

Alcohol Deliveries

I also did this through instacart and have watched the horror stories on youtube of other DD drivers. You show up for a delivery and the customer conveniently doesn't have their ID or you get there and find out the person is under 21 or there is a raging party underway and everyone is drunk and stupid. All of these stories that I refer to required the driver to return the alcohol to the merchant and getting a refund. It also included A LOT of wasted time that the delivery driver was not compensated for so basically, they worked for free. I decline ALL alcohol offers.

This is a perfect example of why I don't do Shop & Deliver or Alcohol deliveries. It's also another reason why I don't accept low paying / low tipping orders from "miserables."
